A + B 1 Hour Epoxy Putty is an easy-to-use, two-part putty you simply mix, mold and shape like clay before hardening. No complicated weighing or measuring is needed. Simply cut off equal parts of the A and B bars for a 1:1 mixing ratio. It hardens in about one hour and fully cures in twelve hours. It adheres well to wood, metal, plastic, glass and porcelain surfaces. Tints, dyes and pigments can be added during the mixing process to obtain any desired color. It bonds to nearly all materials, and even sets up under water. A + B epoxy products respond well to the use of water for smoothing, shaping, or molding. A very smooth surface is obtained when smoothed with water. A + B Epoxy Putty will not shrink. After curing it can be sanded, drilled, routed, screwed, chiseled, surfaced, tapped, sawn, tapped, turned, filed, carved, stained or painted. A + B products are resistance to heat, cold, and most common chemicals and solvents or caustic agents.
To mix, knead and roll the putty in your hands or on a clean working surface for approximately four to five minutes. If the putty is cold or below 70F it will be harder to mix because it is stiffer and will take a little longer to set. If the putty is above 90F it will be easier to mix because it is softer, but it and will have a shorter work life and will set in a shorter amount of time. These products become quite difficult to remove after setting and especially after curing. Clean all tools or any objects with soap and warm water immediately after use. The adhesion of these products is quite excellent and they will bond to almost anything.
A + B 1 Hour Epoxy Putty is available in three colors, White, Tan and Gray and is packaged in two 8 oz. bars (1 bar each of resin and hardener).
