Perfect for measuring the thickness of paper, leather, wire, plastic sheets, and any other similar materials. Measuring faces are hardened, ground and lapped. Adjustable zero point. Fractions and decimal equivalents on back of case. Dull chrome-plated frame. Complete with protective hard plastic carrying case. The dial is 1-1/2" in Diameter. Measures in inches with a maximum thickness of 3/8" in graduations of 0.001".
