EL-Series Twin Tube UV Lamps
All EL-Series lamps are made of a scratch-resistant powder coated metal housing. All of the EL-Series are twin tube lamps that offers either (2) longwave tubes, or (1) longwave tube and (1) shortwave tube. You have the choice of three power levels to choose from, 4-watt, 6-watt or 8-watt. All of these models use a filtered assembly for maximum UV output.
UVL-24 uses (2) 4-watt longwave tubes with a filtered assembly.
UVSL-24 uses (1) 4-watt longwave tube and (1) short-wave tube independently switched with a filtered assembly.
UVL-26 uses (2) 6-watt longwave tubes with a filtered assembly. UVSL-26 uses (1) 6-watt longwave tube and (1) short-wave tube independently switched with a filtered assembly.
UVL-28 uses (2) 8-watt longwave tubes with a filtered assembly. The EL Series UVL- 28 lamp is our recommendation as the best all-around useful lamp for most conservation applications. With its 2) 8 watt bulbs, the UVL- 28 long wave is the best and most powerful lamp we have to offer.
UVSL-28 uses (1) 8-watt longwave tube and (1) short-wave tube independently switched with a filtered assembly.
VOLTAGE INFORMATION
If you need any of the units listed on this page for use with 230V/50Hz voltage just give us a call and we will supply you with product information and pricing.
A word about voltage. If you plan to use your UV lamp within the United States, then you will need to purchase a lamp for 115 volts. If you plan to use one of these lamps outside the US, check first what the voltage is in that country, odds are it will be 230 volts. Some 230 volt UV lamps don't come with a plug due to the fact end plugs change from country to country. Call for more information.
