All of our minarettes are made of extra fine carbon steel and are approx. 7" in length. They are ideal for working with plaster, wax, shaping fills, carving, cleaning, and much more. Please remember when handling these tools that they may have very sharp edges. I speak from personal experience when I tell you, they can cut you very deeply before you even know it. Minarette #1 has two sharp edged spade shaped ends that are basically identical to each other, only reversed. The spade ends are approx. 1/8" in width and 1/2" in length. Minarette #2 has one end that is in the form of a sharp chisel approx. 3/16" wide by 1" in length. The other end comes to a sharp 45° angled chisel, that is approx. 3/16" wide by 1" in length.Minarette #3 has a shape that is difficult to describe. We have shown this tool from the side view. Both ends are in the form of a sharp chisel that has then been rolled at the tips. One end has been left straight across, and the other forms a rounded chisel shape. Both ends are approx. 1/8" in width. Minarette #5 is another one that has a hard shape to describe. One end is similar to the #1 minarette in that it has a sharp edged spade shape. The other end is in the form of a triangle with three sharp edges that come to a sharp point that has been rolled upward. Minarette #9 has one end that is a rounded spatula shape and the other end which comes to a rounded/pointed spatula shape. Both ends of this tool are very thin and very flexible. The ends are approx. 1/8" in width and 1" in length. This is a great tool for placing and working fills. Minarette #42 is similar to the #9 but with slightly wider and stiffer spatula shaped ends. The ends of this tool are thin with medium flexibility. One end is rounded and the other end comes to a rounded point. Both ends are approx. 3/16" wide by 1" in length.
