Protection of high value objects requires a material that is lint-free, non-abrasive, does not adsorb moisture, has good thermal insulating properties and is chemically inert. Polyethylene foam does all this and much more. Polyethylene foam consists of millions of tiny closed air cells, which provides a safeguard against shock and vibration. It is soft, strong, and resilient, does not react harmfully with any product surface and is also heat sealable. All these attributes make this material ideal for packaging, storage, shelving and box lining. It readily conforms to shapes by carving or bending and is easy to cut to size. The density of our polyethylene foam is 2 lb/ft³ and is white in color (Need black? Just give us a call). This foam is also free of CFC-HCFC. Both roll stock and sheet stock is available.
