Micro-Mesh is a unique cushioned abrasive that produces a very fine and uniform scratch pattern. It is made with a flexible cloth backing, topped with a layer of specially formulated latex. Silicone carbide or aluminum oxide crystals are bonded with a flexible glue. Micro-Mesh abrasives can polish to a high reflective state or leave a matte or satin finish depending on where you stop using the series. It can be used wet or dry and will last 5 to 10 times longer than ordinary sandpaper.
Micro-Mesh can be used to polish: acrylic, wood (bare or finished), ceramics, metals, paints, epoxy, stone, and most hard surfaces. Micro-Mesh is available in the following grades: 1500, 1800, 2400, 3200, 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000, 12000. It is available in various sheet sizes. Assortment sets contain one sheet of each grade (9 in total) per size selected. Several kits are also available.
