Acryloid B-44 is made by Rohm and Haas and is a resin based on a methyl methacrylate copolymer. It is harder then any of the other Acryloid resins yet has good flexibility and adhesion to various substrates, specifically primed metals. Acryloid B-44 produces a clear film with an ultimate hardness of 15-16 KHN and a glass transition temperature of 60 (Tg°C).
RECOMMENDED SOLVENTS: Shell Sol 71, Shell Sol 340, Shell M/S 145, Shell Sol 100, Xylene and Toluene.
